I wish I could make a date out of a workday - I’d like to invite my date to just be there with me for 4 - 5 hours. Maybe she brings a book, some music, a journal, her laptop…whatever. No agenda. Just hang out at the apartment…almost literally.

That girl, the one who I can just be myself with and be comfortable doing my work around. She’d see me jumping from project to project; from focused and still to wilding out; from distant and lost in thought to present and completely interested. In her. We’d play her music on the speakers, have some wine. And we wouldn’t want it to end but, we both have places to go. Work to be done.
